Bandera Canyonlands Alliance, a non-profit preservation group is contesting 2 well permits granted to Vanderpool Management LP. A preliminary hearing is set for Tuesday, August 15th, in Austin to determine if the Alliance has legal standing to contest the permits. Vanderpool Management LP was granted the permits by the Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District in January.
