Bandera - Pine Gate Renewables injunction on solar farm construction

198th  District Judge Patrick Maguire halts development of a 13 hundred acre solar farm in Bandera County. Reports the San Antonio Business Journal.  Judge Maguire issued an injunction. Citing imminent harm. There previously was a temporary restraining order on construction.  Despite the court ordered injunction Bandera County residents report that the developer is pushing ahead with the solar energy project. Local landowners filed suit against Pine Gate renewables, a large energy company out of North Carolina. Residents are concerned about property values, erosion control and water safety. The property is near Montague Lake.
