The National Pacific War Museum and the Smithsonian Channel host several free film screenings of the Battle of Midway on Sunday, June 4th and Wednesday, June 7th . The screenings are at the Nimitz Hotel Ballroom in Fredericksburg. The battle occurred when the US Navy intercepted a Japanese Fleet on the way to Midway Island.
