Boerne’s Cibolo Nature Center celebrates its 35th anniversary. The Evans family started the conservation effort in 1988 to protect the Cibolo Creek through a grassroots effort. There’s educational programs and events. Also 6 miles of nature trails.Today the Nature Center encompasses the Herff Farm also. For information, visit the Cibolo.org website. The trails are open this Thanksgiving week but the Center’s employees have the week off.
