Boerne Parks and Recreation and Boerne ISD students team up to add five fish habitats at the River Road Park Project. On Wednesday, members of the Champion High School welding team installed the all-metal structures to compliment the natural habitats that are part of the project. The sculptures weigh nearly 1,000 pounds each and are bolted into the bedrock of the creek. Once the water is back behind the Mill Dam, you won’t see them but it highlights Boerne’s continued dedication to environmental responsibility.
