Key Capture Energy representatives are scheduled to meet with the public in Comfort regarding a BESS. BESS is a battery energy storage system. The informational open house is Monday, January 29th at the Comfort Library. 6pm. Key Capture Energy are to answer questions regarding their plans to build a BESS at Flat Rock Creek Road. The project is still in development navigating permitting processes. If the timeline goes as projected, operations could begin in 2027. Reports the Comfort News.
