Diesel leak near Kerrville Water Plant

If the water you’re using from your tap seems different today, it is. A diesel leak near Kerrville’s water treatment plant over the weekend required the city switch the city water from surface to underground water wells as a precaution. The leak came from a business nearby. Storm damage is the culprit. The city expects to be back on surface water sometime next week. The Texas Commission of Environmental Quality is involved and is working with the business responsible for the diesel leak. We’ll keep you updated.
