The City of Fair Oaks adopts a drought contingency plan. The plan takes effect August first. It’s a 3 stage plan that enables the utility company to add surcharges to businesses and residents if they use over a certain amount of water. The plan will also restrict non-essential water use like commercial car washes, outdoor fountains and more. The full list is on the city’s website at fairoaksranchtx.org. Currently no drought restrictions are in effect.
