FBG City Council votes against rezoning

Fredericksburg City Council voted against a rezoning change from residential to mixed residential for the 400 block of East Austin Street. At their meeting last week, a request was made to rezone from several residents. Mixed residential would have allowed more short term rentals and retail. Other residents expressed concern about traffic and noise.
