Fredericksburg has named the ten members appointed to the Charter Review Committee. Reports the Standard Radio Post. 2 City Council members plus the City Manager, Secretary and city attorney will preside on the board. Council member Emily Kirchner pointed out the lack of diversity of the ten chosen - who are all males. Mayor Jeryl Hoover recognized there were no women in their choices even though Kirchner suggested 2 women’s names. The committee will work on updating the City Charter.
