Saturday, August 26th is Women’s Equality Day. It’s the day which commemorates the 1920 certification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, granting women the right to vote. The Hill Country League of Women Voters will recognize women from the 6 counties the league represents….Kerr, Kendall, Gillespie, Bandera, Blanco and Llano. The public event is Saturday at 9:30am in Fredericksburg. Address is the Memorial Presbyterian Church on North Milam Street.
