Kerr County’s new County Clerk is Ian Collum. He was appointed by Commissioner’s Court on Monday. He is formerly the deputy county clerk acting as an interim. He’s replacing Jackie Dowdy who resigned in October. Collum will serve out Dowdy’s term for the next 14 months. Then he will apply to run for the position in the 2024 Primary election next November to serve out the 2 years remaining.
