Kerr Co - LCRA grants for emergency needs

Kerr County entities receive grants for emergency response needs.  LCRA awarded a 100 thousand dollar community grant to the Divide Volunteer Fire Department. The funds will expand the station house for additional vehicles, equipment and training.   City of Ingram awarded a $16,454 grant to fund a new utility task vehicle to help the city expand its emergency response after last year’s flood. And Ingram VFD is awarded a $14,847 grant to build a new structure to protect firefighting equipment also to be outfitted with gutters to direct rainwater to the department’s retention tank.
