Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha announces his bid to run for re-election. Leitha has been in law enforcement 34 years. He has coordinated many special operations with other law enforcement agencies. During his tenure, he has expanded the expertise of the sheriff’s office with special units. The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office has also been recognized with national awards. Recently, Sheriff Leitha accepted a Leadership in the Prevention of Terrorism Award by the International Police Chiefs Association. Reports the Daily Times.
