A domestic incident in Kerr County turned violent. A husband shot his wife in the early morning hours on Tuesday. Isidro Arias-Benitez 33 shot Ana Marie Puente Ortiz 36 at the 100 block of Corbin Circle near Harper Road and IH-10. Ortiz was taken to Peterson Regional Medical Center where she succumbed to her injury. A murder warrant was issued for Arias-Benitez who was arrested and booked into the Kerr County Jail. His bond is set at 500 thousand dollars. The minor children in the household are in the care of Child Protective Services. Kerr County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
