2 Holiday events in Kerrville this weekend. Friday is the start of “Snow on the Island”! Every Friday in December until Christmas, walk in a Winter Wonderland along Tranquility Island in Louise Hays Park from 5-6:30 p.m. Note that the artificial “snow” is perfectly safe to play in! Just don’t eat any. It is not meant for ingestion. On Saturday, The Home for the Holidays 5K starts at 4pm. Register with the Kerrville Parks and Recreation by the end of today.
