Kerrville property taxes set for an increase in 2023. The City Council unanimously voted on a proposed rate of .5595 per 100 dollars. Although, this is almost a 3 percent decrease from 2022, taxable valuation has increased. An election isn’t necessary for this proposal. A public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 12 at City Hall. Citizens can support or oppose the tax rate by contacting council members prior to the meeting or during the meeting. City Hall is on Main Street.
