Kerrville PD reported a citizen was scammed out of a considerable amount of money from someone claiming to be from the Publisher’s Clearing House. A reminder that the clearing house is a legitimate business but they do not ask you for money. The scammers will. Do not respond to these calls, text messages or emails. If you’re contacted, call KPD. You can even call the Publisher’s Clearing House 800 number to report a scamming incident.
