ERCOT creates a new leadership position amidst grid strain. Woody Rickerson is promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Rickerson, an engineer, his previous title was Vice President, System Planning and Weatherization. Rickerson will oversee grid operations, weatherization, planning and commercial operations. Kristi Hobbs, a VP of Corporate Strategy steps into his former role. The changes took effect Friday.
