As Texas based Whataburger builds their third location, in Tuscaloosa Alabama, they had to ditch their signature orange signs at their new restaurant near the University of Alabama Campus.The sign has all white lettering which is not the norm. The Tuscaloosa Thread reported the university said that business owners in the area had to comply with aesthetic consistencies.The other 2 locations retain their orange lettering. Maybe it has to do with the orange and white being the colors of rival Auburn.
