An area of Wimberley was under lockdown on Wednesday. According to expressnews.com, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office initially thought there were 2 armed car thief suspects near the Woodcreek North Subdivision. There was only one. Arrested was, Sibrain Hernandez, 18.

Kerrville Pets Alive is starting construction at their SAFE Campus, 2926 Memorial Boulevard. KPA needs volunteers on Tuesday, to help move their pet food supply to their location at 2102 Memorial Boulevard. Volunteering will involve carrying and transporting pet food and supplies. After responding to community needs due to the flood, clean up and repair, the Heart of the Hills VFW Post 1480 in Kerrville is finally re-opening to the public. On Veterans Day, November 11 they will have a Barbecue Meal prepared by Tonya’s Country Cookin’ and prize giveaways. They are seeking the public’s help with donations.
