Texans impacted by  recent flooding  and need legal assistance can now receive aid through the  Texas Access to Justice Foundation .  The Foundation is  the largest state-based funding source for civil legal aid and have  $1.8 million dollars in funding for  Texas RioGrande Legal Aid  to provide legal services to Texans impacted by the recent Texas floods. A new down payment assistance program for Kerr County residents affected by the July 4th floods announced by Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation,  Connective , and the  Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country . Kerr County FFA student, Ruger Reeves makes plea for help and the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo responds. The Kerr County Junior Live Stock Show and Rodeo faces peril as their fundraiser was cancelled and their show space is still occupied by the state of Texas. Ruger wrote letters to various organizations and explained the plight of Kerr County students participation in Stock Show and rodeo. Houston answered with a half a million dollar donation, presented in Kerrville.

Traffic Notice: Signal Outage at I-10 & Fair Oaks Parkway in Fair Oaks Ranch. A developer damaged the signal control system, causing the lights to stop working. TxDOT is aware and is deploying a temporary fix. Until repairs are complete, the signals on both sides of the intersection are not operating. Llano County Commissioners vote for a resolution against the Bell County East – Big Hill 765 kv transmission line according to the dailytrib.com . Llano joins Burnet County in opposition to the project. Although lines are not set to run through Llano County, they are subject to a line re-route in the future. The 765 transmission line is the largest of its kind and will run 200 miles from Bell County to Schleicher County in order to power the Permian Basin.

Fair Oaks Ranch water main services are being worked on Thursday and Friday. C rews are preparing to tie in the new water main and complete service connections to properties in several neighborhoods. Two partial street closures in Kerrville today. From 9am to 2pm the city and their contractor are preparing for closures of a portion of Olympic Drive near the existing western driveway location for the Olympic Pool. Another lawsuit hits Camp Mystic and its owners according to courthousenews.com . Lanier Law Firm of Houston representing 6 families filed the lawsuit in the District Court of Travis County. The plaintiffs are seeking wrongful death damages, survival action damages, and exemplary damages. They are also seeking trial by jury.

The National Museum of the Pacific War, Fredericksburg, has a sudden change of venue and guest speaker for today’s Veterans Day celebration. The ceremony is now at the Pacific Combat Zone, 508 E.
