Kerrville City Attorney Mike Hayes has submitted notice of his intent to resign. Hayes plans to step down effective February 2nd. Hayes and his wife are moving closer to family. In the coming months, the City will work with City Council on next steps.

Florida woman sought by Houston Constable investigators for fraud related to the Kerr County July flood. According to KPRC2, Houston, Maitlin White created fake online fundraisers in the name of Chloe Childress, a Camp Mystic counselor from Houston who died in the July 4 th  flood.  White created GoFundMe and  SpotFund accounts using Chloe’s photo and information 4 days after the flood. Ethan Crowder of Ingram has been missing since Wednesday midnight. Today is day 5. His mother Billie Jo Baccus and family have been posting on Facebook and Nextdoor about his disappearance. He’s a high functioning autistic young man, 20 years of age with brown curly hair, black clothing and black boots and backpack and left home riding his bicycle. Man in Boerne arrested and charged with sexual assault this past weekend according to the Boerne Star. Boran Rotk of Cambodia allegedly assaulted a woman near South Main Street. She was taken to an area hospital.

Rainbow Trout ready for anglers this Saturday in Fredericksburg. It’s Kid Fish Day at Lady Bird Johnson Park. Fishing poles, bait, and tackle provided—feel free to bring your own gear.
