Two local Fredericksburg organizations received funds from Create Healthy, Inc., The Fredericksburg based foundation. Fredericksburg ISD Billies Boosters received 17 thousand dollars for gameday equipment. The Needs Council is the recipient of 20 thousand dollars. The funds will support the Food 4 Kids Program providing week-end ready to eat snacks for under-nourished children.
