80th anniversary of D-Day

Today is the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The largest amphibious invasion in military history on the beaches of Normandy France. This morning VFW Post 7105 in Fredericksburg is having a commemoration at 11am. 6 World War 2 Veterans are slated to appear.  Post 7105 is on South Washington Street. Reports the Standard Radio Post.
