Austin - Heavens 27 Camp Safety Act

“The Heavens 27 Camp Safety Act” passed unanimously yesterday at the Texas Capitol.  The Senate Select Committee on Disaster Preparedness and Flooding in Austin passed the Camp Safety Act also known as Senate Bill 1 from Chairman Charles Perry’s committee. The bill addresses overall camp safety, and evacuation policy and procedures during a natural disaster.
