Bandera - Buddy Tryon given permission for burial at historic black cemetery

1993 is the last year a burial took place at the Bertha Tryon/Hendrick Arnold Cemetery in Bandera. According to the Bandera Prophet. The historic cemetery, previously known as the Black Cemetery was largely neglected until Bertha Mae Tryon, wife of Ural Cal aka Buddy Tryon, was laid to rest. Now Buddy, 94, requests permission to be buried next to his wife in the historic cemetery when his time comes. Since he is a relative of someone buried in the cemetery, he is eligible to be buried there.
