Bandera Canyonlands Alliance Hearing update

Bandera Canyonlands Alliance provides an update on the 2 hearings between Vanderpool Management LP and the Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District Tuesday in Austin. At the center of the hearings are 2 water well permits applied for by Vanderpool Management. BCRAGD reduced the amount of water that could be pumped from the wells from 200 acre feet per year to 56 acre feet per year. The judges have to review the testimony and in the coming months will issue recommendations for the permits. The applications will go back to BCRAGD for a decision.
