Bandera Co - East Verde Creek Preserve

Bandera County land is now a permanent conservation preserve, according to the The Texas Land Conservancy. The organization announced that The East Verde Creek Preserve a 95-acre property, dedicated by James Smyle and Joan Miller is now a permanent conservation. The Preserve serves as a sanctuary for the federally endangered golden-cheeked warbler. The preserve was originally overworked farmland that Smyle and Miller worked on restoring the habitat and biodiversity.
