Bandera Co - High School staff member arrested for indecency and sexual assault

Bandera County Sheriff’s Office arrested a member of the Bandera High School Staff Friday afternoon. Christopher Sandoval Mata, was arrested and booked into the Bandera County Jail.  He was charged with:

Aggravated Sexual Assault

Improper Relationship Between a Student and Educator.

Invasive Visual Recording

Bandera High School Administration reached out to the Sheriff’s Office regarding an allegation of sexual indecency between a student and a staff member. Criminal Investigators spoke with the victim and secured potential evidence. During the course of the investigation sufficient evidence was obtained to secure arrest warrants for the suspect, Christopher Sandoval Mata.

This is an ongoing criminal investigation.
