Bandera Co - monitoring wells

Two aquifer monitoring wells planned for Bandera County. The Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District to begin the process of drilling in Vanderpool according to the Bandera Prophet. The site provided by the Vanderpool VFD.  The wells will provide critical information for protection of drinking water, agriculture, other businesses, and guide responsible growth.  Needed is 75 thousand dollars.  Bandera Canyonlands Alliance has already donated 50 thousand dollars to BCRAGD.  The alliance is asking for the community to donate the remaining 25 thousand.  The Bandera Canyonlands Alliance has also launched the Aquifer Monitoring Well Initiative, to safeguard water resources in western Bandera County by improving access to groundwater data.
