Bandera - fatal crash Sunday 05.25.25

Fatal Crash in Bandera takes the life of a young woman according to Texas DPS. Early Sunday morning around 1:40am, a White Camaro traveling South on Highway 173 crossed over and hit a blue KIA traveling North, head-on killing the driver – a 19 year old female, Valeri Mireles. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver, a 22 year old male, Evan Mazurek, was taken to an area hospital. He will face charges of intoxication manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.
