Principals of Bandera Middle School and High School presented the pros of a 4 day school week. Reports the Bandera Bulletin. The presentation was made to the Bandera ISD Board of Trustees during their monthly meeting. Bandera has been feeling the pinch of teacher shortages. A few of the pros of a 4 day week is higher teacher retention, lower operational costs and improved attendance an morale. The school district has been speaking with parents and consulting with schools of like size utilizing the 4 day school week.
