The City of Bandera has a new alert system, TextMyGov. It’s a text messaging system alerting residents and visitors about information affecting the community. It’s a free service. Go to your phone message app, send a text to 91896, type in Bandera and you’ll receive a message to opt in. Other opt-ins are for Cowboy Capital, Mardi Gras and Eclipse.
