Bandera Noise Ordinance rears its head again. The City of Bandera held a townhall on a possible amendment to their Noise Ordinance recently. Reports the Bandera Bulletin. The room was packed with citizens wanting to give their opinion. Mayor Rebecca Gibson facilitated the meeting. The majority of the citizens were against the ordinance changes as they could affect their businesses and their guests. On the weekends several businesses have to report a higher decibel level, buy a permit and post the notice in the paper. Some of the changes included lowering decibels at a time when bars and music venues make the most money. The ordinance was on the agenda for last night’s City Council meeting.
