Bandera City Council examining safety protocol regarding the recent Mardi Gras Parade according to the Bandera Prophet. Parade goers rushing to get beads and candy created gaps in between the floats creating delays. New City Marshal Earl Heidelberg said there wasn’t enough manpower to control traffic and the crowd. With a Memorial Parade fast approaching, the council may have a workshop for solutions to shore up safety procedures.
