The City of Kerrville recently passed a Resolution recognizing the Bird City Texas Kerrville coalition initiative. Only 10 cities in Texas have achieved the Bird City Texas accreditation through Texas Parks & Wildlife & Texas Audubon. Kerrville is located in the Central Fly Zone, where 50% of birds in North America fly through for both spring & fall migration times.
