Black bear killed near Mountain Home

This past Saturday, The Divide Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle hitting a black bear on Highway 83 near the Garven Store. No injuries were reported except the death of the bear. The Game Warden took possession of it. And coincidentally Saturday was National Black Bear Day.
