Blanco County FD/EMS - whole blood

Blanco County Fire and EMS is expanding life saving resources in Rural Texas. They have joined the Regional Whole Blood program. As a community with no hospital, the ability to immediately transfuse blood in the field will improve care during the hour long transport to comprehensive facilities. Whole blood dramatically improves survival rates for the critically ill.
