Boerne - Alamo Colleges restarts NWETC construction

Construction re-start on the Northwest Education and Training Center or NWETC near Boerne.  Alamo Colleges broke ground May of 2022 to bring higher education and training to the Boerne ISD area. The new multi-use building will support technical and academic programs. The center was to open in 2023 but due to the Covid pandemic and contracting issues the construction was delayed.  The NWETC is at the intersection of IH-10 and Balcones Creek Boulevard. A final completion date is set for January 2027.
