Boerne - Special Election called

Special Election called by Boerne City Council to be held May 3, 2025, in conjunction with the General Election. The Special Election will include four amendments to the City Charter. The amendments include the increase of office terms from 2 years to 3, an elimination of unnecessary language, a change of method of filling City Council vacancies from 2 years to 3 and a requirement to review the City Charter every 10 years. The proposed amendments are the result of the Charter Review Commission’s examination of the City Charter, the governing document that outlines how the City of Boerne operates.
