Boerne - W. Thiessen Bridge closed

Boerne closes the West Thiessen Bridge over Frederick Creek until further notice for emergency repairs. The Engineering and Mobility Department report unsafe driving conditions as during inspection, they found erosion in the culvert. The City is working with a local contractor on repairs. They are estimating a 4 to 6 week closure. The city suggests using Main Street or West Hosack to access W. Thiessen.
