Buc-ees - Palmer Lake residents fight new build

Boerne isn’t the only town opposing the arrival of Buc-ee’s. Palmer Lake residents, South of Denver are trying to stop the Texas convenience store from constructing a new location, According to mysanantonio.com. Citizens claim that the city was not transparent regarding an approval for land annexation to build the Buc-ees near Interstate 25. The citizens say there was no video on the vote by their city council or time for public input nor were neighboring landowners notified. Several groups have filed a lawsuit and have created a Stop Buc-ees website.
