Burnet - flood buyback

Owners of 13 properties in Burnet could get flood relief in regards to their damaged properties. According to dailytrib.com, Burnet’s City Council authorized a flood buyout program this week in tandem with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service.  The Emergency Watershed Protection Program will assist the city in purchasing flood damaged properties. Burnet is the first Texas city to undergo an NRCS buyout.
