Camp Mystic - Eastland criminal probe

Eastland family responds to the criminal probe executed by the Texas Rangers into their role in the deaths following deadly floods at Camp Mystic in July 2025. 6 family members have filed motions in Kerr County District Court, asking for a hearing. The family is saying the search warrants are a “fishing expedition.” The Texas Department of Public Safety 14 search warrants were served last month by Texas DPS, mostly against the Eastland family, owners of the summer camp.
