Camp Stanley prescribed burns

Prescribed burns this weekend at Camp Stanley. Personnel from Camp Stanley Storage Activity and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) are planning to conduct the burns.  Residents may see or smell smoke during the prescribed burn. The primary goal of the prescribed burns is to reduce fuel loads, such as dead vegetation and thick brush, which will lessen the future risk of catastrophic wildfires.
