Comfort - major accident w/fatalities

Traffic diverted through Comfort yesterday afternoon as a major accident closed down lanes on IH-10 West at Mile Marker 524 according to Texas DPS. Preliminary reports indicate 3 people died. 2 children and 1 adult. Another adult and child were injured during the accident. The 2 were airlifted. For an unknown reason a silver GMC Sierra pick-up truck with the 5 passengers was stopped on the right lane of the highway when a truck tractor and semi-trailer struck the pick-up.
