Dade Phelan holds on to the TX Speaker of the House

In the Texas Capitol, Dade Phelan holds on to his position of Speaker of the House. He defeated challenger David Covey of Orange County during the run-off election yesterday. Covey received more votes than Phelan in the March election leading to the run-off.
