Dripping Springs - HEB plans to double store size

HEB plans to double their size in Dripping Springs according to mysanantonio.com. The grocer plans to expand from 75 thousand square feet to 150 thousand square feet at their property on Highway 290. The expansion is to serve the growing population as in 4 years, Dripping Springs has grown from 5 thousand residents to 10 thousand. HEB has applied to the city for demolish of the current building and to rezone the area. The new store would be built away from the current building and when the current building would then be demolished for the store’s parking lot.
