Fair Oaks Ranch - FLOCK Safety Camera Systems installation

Fair Oaks Ranch is in the process of installing the FLOCK Safety Camera System on their streets. 9 of them in total. According to the city website, the cameras are to identify vehicles of interest as they will take a photo of license plates. Citizens concerned about privacy issues, the city will ensure that the cameras will not be used to issue traffic citations or monitor driving behavior. Only authorized Fair Oaks Law Enforcement will have logged and audited access to the data. The data will not be sold or used for commercial purposes and will be erased after 30 days.
