FBG - City vs. Former Texas Rangers Foundation

After ending their association with the Former Texas Rangers Foundation earlier this month, Fredericksburg is now suing the organization. According to expressnews.com, a lawsuit was filed against the non-profit for breaching their terms of a 2011 economic development agreement. The City is asking for records on how the organization used public funds, and claims the foundation "(obstructed) the city's right to oversight and accountability." Plus, Fredericksburg wants compensation for court costs and attorney’s fees.
